What Was the Most Rising Searches in 2008 by Google

Google Zeitgeist 2008 has been released. If somebody doesn’t know – it is a list of the most popular search terms for the year. Yahoo has released Yahoo 2008 list of top search terms few weeks ago, but there is big difference between these two lists. Google listed the fastest-rising searches of the year which is different from Google Zeitgeist2007 and gives us the idea of popular things around the world.

We can say that US president election was the main topic around the world, but I think that the biggest buzz was created about Sarah Palin daugther’s pregnancy. Cause Barack Obama was left in the 6th place. In second place come Sport events with Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and Euro Football Championchip 2008 which was held in Austria and Switzerland. After them come social networks and celebrities.
Google Zeitgeist 2008 has more sections than 2007 listing. You can find out what we were looking for US region, what was the TOP of mind, Politics, Trendsetters, Showbiz, Sports, and all around the world.
