Is My Website Down for Everyone or Just Me?

Since Tuesday I got problems viewing my website. Firefox was always whining that he can‘t get to the website, cause „communication error occurred: Operation timed out”.

What‘s the problem? Does all my website visitor have this issue ?

Is there any tool that can help me to check my website availability from different regions? I mean free tool, cause I don‘t want to add any cost to my site maitenance since I don‘t get from it even a penny..

I started searching in Google. And found some resources! Thanks GOD (or should I say – Thanks GOOGLE).

There are some tools from the first lines of Google search. I won‘t comment all, but the one with most features.

It‘s WebSitePulse.com. Yes it offers you paid services, but I am talking about free ones. Go to http://www.websitepulse.com/help/tools.php and you‘ll see the gadget which can help you determining if your site is unavailable from Seattle in USA, Munich in Germany or Brisbane in Australia.

The other nice free feature – your Web Page Test. Doing this test you will find out how fast your website is loading and which components slow your website load.

Yes – my blog is accessible, but … I still can‘t get to my website…

Furthermore, it loads too slow and I have some work to do to load faster. Maybe change my template to more professional without many graphic elements and other components. But this is another story..
