Google Adwords says: “You have your daily budget is reached and exceeded”

Today I got stuck with Google Adwords.

I opened my Adwords account to see the results from my “Dominating Amazon” campaign. There was no click..

Trying to find out what is wrong, I got my mouse on keyword’s QS. And then I saw the reason:
“You have your daily budget is reached and exceeded”

I tried to rise my campaign budget per day, lower cpc maximum bid and googled with the reason string.

And got the answer..

It is a common mistake new Adwords users as I make when opening an account.

I opened a new Google Adwords account and generated no impressions or clicks for days. When I went to look at the ad diagnostics tool, it said that campaign had already exceeded his daily budget. How could I have exceeded my campaign’s budget if I have never received any impressions or clicks?

The mistake I made was I set my keyword bids too high, and my daily budgets were too low.

The explanation from Google groups tells that if my bids are too high for the daily budget my campaigns got turned off as soon as it was turned on. Google thinks that if it starts showing the ads and people click on them, they won’t be able to shut them off in enough time to not go over budget, so they just turn it off as soon as it is turned on.

We can fix it simply by lowering our bids or increasing our daily budget. Once we did this, our ads immediately began showing. There is no technical problem with the account or with Google.
