Dominating Amazon with PPC

While looking for information about PPC and how to create campaigns, I read a message on one forum about profitting from promoting products in Amazon network. Cause, I am going to start one, I decided to try it. First I bought James Simpson’s “Dominating Amazon” guide (for only 7$), in which I found information how to select products, create Google Adwords campaigns and other helpful tips.

Guide is strictly concentrated on Amazon’s UK market, because there is too big competition in USA on promoting products. Also, you can try dominate Amazon in Germany, France, Canada, or even Japan or China. It’s all to you, if you know language good, try your best. I believe competition is not big in these countries as in UK or USA. But my language limitation leaves me in English talking countries. I don’t count Canada, cause they have two national languages – English and French. Correct me, if I am wrong.

Also, it is more comfortable to get all earned money directly to my account in Lithuania (only way to get money from Amazon US is check, which will travel for about 7-8 days).

Another point – bigger referral rate is in UK. It starts from 5 %, and can increase to 7,5 %. You can think, that is too low to promote, but …

… most customers buy more than one thing at a time, cause Amazon offers related products every step of the way, and Amazon has big number of related products.

The first negative detail I found – it’s results are update once a day. So, if you want to see your statistics, you will have to wait till tomorrow.

While on the first fire, I started my new Google Adwords campaign. It was difficult to find a product I could promote, but I searched for best rated products in Games category. i decided – it will be a try. I gave it a monthly budget of $5, to see what results I will get. Then selected keywords with Google Adwords and created a campaign promoting Wii Fit Fitness game. Cause it’s my first campaign, I placed a bid on $0.05 per click to watch how many clicks I will get. But after 7 hours, I get only few impressions. I increased bid to $0.10 , and now ad gets more impressions. Waiting for clicks

Yeah, it’s too many products to choose from. That’s why I was looking for software which would help me in this task. And I found one. It’s AmazonHunter2. You can view it here. I will buy it tomorrow and will do my best to earn from dominating Amazon.
