Discover who Are Great Influencers and Followers in Your Twitter Network

Since I started using Twitter in October of 2008 (click to follow me on Twitter) I found many useful services related to Twitter.

Yesterday I was introduced with MrTweet which can help you discovering who are the great influencers and followers in your Twitter network! All you need is to follow MrTweet or go to his site at mrtweet.net and click follow button.

I did this and now I am thankfull to some guy, who recommended it. Because it’s my way to find many followers.

MrTweet replied me in 10 minutes with a link to report about great influencers and followers in my Twitter network! From people who I follow, they generated a list of 200 twitters who have highest ratio (ratio is for comparision of  followers to following).

Here is what MrTweet says about how the list is generated:

Influencers based on their popularity, relevance to you, as well as likelihood of reciprocity!

I looked through the list and decided to follow all of them (except Britney Spears . I noticed that most of the listed people have reciprocity value which can help you to decide if you should follow them.

Here are the reciprocity value I noticed:

• Frequently replies to non-follows
• Usually follows back (most of them followed me)

As I said I followed most of them (198 twitters). It has gone about 24 hours from my “bulk” following and here are the results:

Before: 42  followers;

After 24 hours: 160 followers and still new people is following me!

Great results for 20 minutes work. Remember, all the people in the list are from initial followers and people I am following.
